Hey there. My name is Mark, and these are my words. I’m a twenty-something trying to find my way in the world. I live in Gainesville, Florida, I work a 9-5 job (and spend the majority of my waking hours in a cubicle), and I put my pants on one leg at a time. This site exists because I believe that life is absolutely amazing, that each day is important, and that none of us were made for humdrum lives.
Here’s the thing. We’re young with our whole lives ahead of us. A lot of us are in new jobs, discovering new communities to find our place in, and don't know what the heck to make of our future. That’s OKAY.
What can you expect from this site?
You can expect words from the soul from someone who is in the fresh trenches of adulthood with you. I don't have an extraordinary label on my life, my job isn't flashy, and I do lots of normal things on a daily basis, but I’m trying to keep my eyes open to the hope that each day brings.
This blog is for people who are living each day to the max that they can. Whether you love your job or hate it, whether you like where you live or don’t, whether you’re busy or bored, whether you feel lucky or unlucky, this blog is for you. I’m going to do my best to find enjoyment in each day regardless of position or location, and I hope that you’ll join me.
